Swhosting.ie now offer "Dedicated VPS" (DVPS). We can install virtualization software allowing you to create a VPS with the full server resources. DVPS are not shared in any way, they are full dedicated servers with virtualization software installed. How does this help? Well, you can backup the whole DVPS daily automatically to the same server or a different server. In case of failure, you can quickly restore the backup. You can even split the resources and run another VPS with a different operating system and control panel. Another advantage is the ability to seamlessly upgrade your dedicated server. Your VPS on the server can be quickly transfered to another larger server with zero downtime. You can also rebuild and reboot the DVPS yourself, anytime you want.
